PERMACULTURE SITE VISIT
PERMACULTURE SITE VISIT, 8TH OCTOBER 2011
Four people went up to Yorkshire, to visit two gardens and an allotment, run on Permaculture lines. Cath, Dan and Helen have written a report on the day, which is attached here - you will need to be registered and logged on to see it though, apologies if that's a pain.
2010 YEAR END CELEBRATION
Transition Buxton members showed that using your own energy really warms you up at our annual year-end get-together. The snow was deep and crisp and uneven outside but we warmed ourselves with plenty of dancing and singing.
Even though we normally advocate using local produce, as well as home grown barn dancing and folk music, we danced Brazilian salsa and an old French dance.
