More and more towns across the UK are declaring themselves Transition Towns!

As Climate Change and Peak Oil start to have more influence over our daily lives there are things that can be done to alleviate the difficulties and prepare better for the future.

A Transition Town is a community working together to look Peak Oil and Climate Change squarely in the eye and address this BIG question:

"For everything this community needs to thrive, how do we:

• cope with the effects of Peak Oil
• reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)?"

Transition Towns are declaring themselves all over the UK and there is now quite a strong Transition Network.
Our neighbors more locally are also starting to organize:
