Buxton Community School Clothes Swap

As part of Sustainable Fashion week we are delighted to be returning to Buxton Community School for another lunchtime Clothes Swap.  Students and Staff bring in items of clean adult clothing in good condition and get a voucher for each one, then ‘shop the rails and table for the new to them items they want to spend their vouchers on. On previous visits over 100 garments (and no money) have changed hands in just an hour!

Our Stitch Don’t Ditch volunteers will be on hand to help with altering and upcycling, and there may be an opportunity to have a go at crochet as well.

This event is not open to the public for safeguarding reasons, just the 1200 students and staff who work and learn at Buxton Community School.
