Transition Buxton CIC is funded almost entirely through the generosity of our community and Members donations. We also apply for and accept grant funds for specific projects.
We aim to keep our costs to a minimum, and ask for donations on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis so as to be accessible to everyone regardless of means. Inevitably though, we do incur costs – hosting of the website, hire of rooms and equipment, insurance, and so on. We try to ensure that events and activities cover their own costs, through donations, but that isn’t always possible.
