Join the volunteers who will be making crafty creatures from recycled materials, hearing live local acoustic musicians, enjoying storytelling corner, and exploring what it is about our planet you are most passionate about.
A Transition Buxton spokesperson says: “We want to have some fun, enjoy good company, and hear about your priorities. Do you have a particular passion for pangolins or porpoises? Do fungi fascinate you? Does the Peak District landscape stir your soul? Write heartfelt messages to go in the big heart lantern to be delivered to our MP to let our representative know how passionate you are about nature and a positive future.”
Drop in for 10 minutes, or stay for hours, no need to book, suitable for all ages, donations welcome.
